Aportes de los nuevos espacios verdes a la acción climática

Abstract

The characteristics of two new green spaces are analyzed using various indicators with respect to two other traditional squares nearby in the Caballito neighborhood in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The results indicate that the two new green spaces present significant advantages if the ecosystem services through greater absorbent surfaces and emissions savings are considered, as well as cultural services through greater comfort. These new spaces should be taken into account as exemplary models to create new urban green spaces
